Shark Fining

Shark finning is when you catch a shark and only cut off the fins of the shark. this hurts severely hurts the shark and ultimately kills them slowly and painfully. Shark fin soup is a delicacy in many Asian countries and it's a delicacy because of the fibres in the fin that resemble noodles yet they have no flavour and nearly no nutritional value and chicken stock are often added to in proving the flavour. But they are still consumed in unprecedented amounts that are severely impacting the ecosystem.
